Changing Perceptions
First Annual Impact Report
In October 2023, I had the honor of working with a local nonprofit in creating their first annual impact report. I collaborated closely with Monte, the Executive Director of Changing Perceptions, to bring the organization's accomplishments throughout 2022 together into a cohesive and clean report.
Since this is the organization's first report, I opted for a clean, modern, and simple design that can be easily reused or built upon. The non-profit had a style guide to work from (fonts, colors, logo) that led to a quick start on the project.
Changing Perceptions had some incredible outcomes in 2022. In order to honor their achievements, I chose simple data visualizations that highlighted key figures.
This impact report will only be distributed and viewed digitally, which informed quite a few design decisions since each page needed to make sense on its own. Additionally, in order to make it accessible for the nonprofit to edit, the entire document was created in Canva.
Similar to program outcomes, the financial report is an important aspect of an impact report. I visualized the revenue and spending of the organization with simple pie charts, and listed the breakdowns clearly underneath.
